Porzio Compliance Services LLC, a subsidiary of Morristown law firm Porzio Bromberg & Newman, announced that Yasmin E. Hernández-Manno joined as director of education compliance. She is part of a team of educators who complement the work of the education law team at the Porzio law firm. She previously was executive county superintendent of schools in Mercer, Burlington, and Middlesex counties, and was the only Hispanic female serving in this capacity for the New Jersey Department of Education, according to the announcement. The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
