Labor and employment attorney Lester Aron joined Scarinci Hollenbeck of Little Falls as deputy managing partner, a role in which he will focus on the firm's practice management and business development, the firm said. "Scarinci Hollenbeck has long been a great place to practice law," Aron said in a statement. "I look forward to engaging the many talented lawyers and significant clients at the firm. I believe we are poised to expand the firm's reputation and success in new and exciting ways and I am excited to be a part of that journey." Aron co-founded Aron, Salsberg & Rosen and later negotiated the firm's acquisition by Sills, Cummis & Gross. Aron was a partner and co-chair the education and labor and employment practice groups for at Sills Cummis for 20 years. After that, he was senior vice president and general counsel at University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Aron also worked as director of the New Jersey Governor's Office's Office of Employee Relations in 2016 and 2017, and, more recently, as an assistant business professor and executive leadership coach, according to his LinkedIn profile. "The legal industry has experienced considerable change since the pandemic began in 2020. Clients are crying out for lower prices and young lawyers are demanding more say and a greater role in originating business," Donald Scarinci, founding partner of Scarinci Hollenbeck, said in a statement. "Les Aron has the skillset we need to help me manage and navigate competing demands within and outside of the firm.
