Bin Promoted to General Counsel

Fox Rothschild announced that Princeton-based attorney Rachelle M. Bin, currently the firm's deputy general counsel, will become general counsel as of April 1. She will take over for Thomas D. Paradise, who has been in the role since becoming Fox Rothschild's first GC in 2005. The firm's risk management group includes some 40 professionals across 29 U.S. offices, the announcement noted.

Bin joined Fox in 2010 as assistant general counsel, and was promoted to deputy GC in 2021. She handles dispute resolution and liability; advises firm attorneys on risk management, ethics and the Rules of Professional Conduct; manages litigation against the firm and its attorneys; and supervises outside counsel and handles all aspects of settlements. In her new role, she will continue to advise the executive committee, the firm said.

"For more than a decade now, Rachelle has been an integral team member in our Office of General Counsel, working side-by-side with Tom as they field inquiries from lawyers throughout the firm, facilitate integration of new laterals and generally do the often-invisible but nonetheless critical risk prevention and mitigation work essential to our successful firm operation and growth," firmwide managing partner Mark L. Morris. said in a statement. "With her years of institutional knowledge and her unparalleled mediation skills, paired with the deep and meaningful relationships she has cultivated with attorneys throughout the firm, Rachelle will provide preeminent leadership to our risk management function."
