Starr Gern Promotes Two
Starr, Gern, Davison & Rubin of Roseland recently promoted two attorneys: Ana Rita Ferreira, to partner, and Alona Magidova, to of counsel. Ferreira and Magidova "are wonderful assets for our firm" and "are committed to supporting their firm teams and the growth of Starr Gern," partner Amos Gern said in a statement. "Adding these individuals to our firm leadership will strengthen our position in the market and allow us to continue to provide superior service to our clients."
Ferreira has been with the firm since 2017. She concentrates her practice on personal injury law, including motor vehicle accidents, slip/trip and fall accidents, construction site negligence, traumatic brain injuries and medical malpractice. "She prides herself on excellent client relations and communication skills, which leads to thorough case review and presentation," the firm said, noting that she is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Magidova is a member of Starr Gern's family law practice group, where she focuses on all areas of matrimonial law and related matters, including domestic violence, complex equitable distribution, and support and custody issues. She is a court-approved family mediator for economic aspects of family law and is an early settlement panelist in Essex and Union counties. She is fluent in in Russian.
