Tim Lyndon, executive director of the Senate Democrats, announced that Abbey True Harris has been appointed as chief counsel of the Senate Majority Office.

Harris most recently served as vice president of legal affairs and public policy for CURE and NJ PURE, where she spearheaded legal and regulatory initiatives and supervised both state and federal trial and appellate litigation. Before that, she spent 10 years in private practice with Fox Rothschild, focusing on complex appellate litigation, health, and regulatory matters. Harris began her career as a law clerk to New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Virginia A. Long.
