The Borough of Paramus and the Paramus Zoning Board were sued on April 27 in New Jersey Superior Court for Bergen County. The court case, brought by Wells, Jaworski & Liebman on behalf of BJ’s Wholesale Club, seeks a judgement overruling the defendants interpretation of an ordinance and permitting the sale of propane at the plaintiff’s route 17 North premises. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is BERL002231-23, Bj’S Wholesale Club, Inc. Vs Borough Of Paramus.
