Shortly after Gov. Phil Murphy announced his appointments to fill the four vacant commissioner seats on the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission Thursday, the current ELEC executive director served a complaint challenging the governor bypassing Senate approval, among other matters.

Murphy announced the following appointments: Tom Prol as chair of ELEC; and Ryan Peters, Norma Evans and Jon-Henry Barr as commissioners.
