Judge Harz Joins Javerbaum Wurgaft
Retired Bergen County Superior Court Judge Rachelle L. Harz joined Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins' alternative resolution dispute practice group to provide mediation, arbitration and special master services. Harz is a former civil judge and multicounty litigation judge, as well as a certified civil trial attorney. She will maintain offices in Springfield and Elmwood Park.
"We are privileged to have such a well-respected jurist join our ADR group," said managing partner Eric G. Kahn in a statement. "With 15 years of experience as a Superior Court judge and 29 years as a lawyer, Judge Harz brings extensive legal expertise to resolve complex legal matters."
Harz lectured numerous times for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and has taught regularly at the Civil Judicial Orientation Program for newly appointed judges on various topics including premises liability, medical malpractice, motion practice, pretrial case management issues, complex litigation management and settlement techniques.
