A legal malpractice suit was filed against Nagel Rice and two of its attorneys—Jay J. Rice and Bradley Lewis Rice—alleging they failed to timely file a counterclaim on behalf of a monthly trade publication and its owner in an underlying defamation dispute.

The suit, The Korean Cleaners Monthly v. Rice, was filed by the Song Firm on behalf of Korean Cleaners Monthly and John Chung in Essex County Superior Court.
