A New York law firm partner received a six-month reciprocal suspension in New Jersey over his employment of a suspended attorney who was supposed to be working in an administrative capacity but instead engaged in the unauthorized practice of law.

An attorney experienced in real estate closings, Eric P. Gonchar, was suspended in April 2014 in New York, because he maintained a side practice of law without his firm’s knowledge, which was against his employment agreement, according to a decision by the Disciplinary Review Board.
