K&L Gates Welcomes Freed as Partner
K&L Gates welcomed Rebecca Moll Freed, formerly of Genova Burns, as a partner in the government contracts and procurement policy practice in Newark.
In her practice, Freed focuses on helping companies successfully navigate complex regulatory frameworks pertaining to political contributions, pay-to-play rules, government contracting, ethics rules, lobbying requirements, gift rules, and energy and utility matters.
Michael Scanlon, a leader of K&L Gates' global policy and regulatory practice area, said, in statement: "Rebecca is a seasoned compliance lawyer whose practice is at the intersection of law, government, and business. The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
