The New Jersey Supreme Court announced Friday that it will increase the number of staff at the Office of Attorney Ethics in an effort to improve the length of time it takes to process ethics matters and to relieve the burden placed on attorneys by delays.

The decision to increase staff at the OAE follows the Supreme Court's adoption of the 2023 attorney discipline budget, as well as an examination of the staffing needs within the attorney disciplinary system, according to a notice to the bar posted Friday and signed by Glenn A. Grant, the administrative director of the courts.
