“Innovation” is a scary word for many, especially for many in the legal field. But innovation frequently has more to do with shifting strategies and approaches—thinking or doing things differently—than it has to do strictly with technology.

Here are the Law Journal’s Innovator of the Year finalists. The winner will be announced tonight at the New Jersey Legal Awards. Also tonight we’ll be announcing winners of Attorney of the Year, Law Firm of the Year, General Litigation Department of the Year and Dealmaker of the Year.
