We have heard on good authority that this year's New Jersey State Bar Association's Mid-Year Meeting in Paris was a success; it was the first international meeting since the pandemic. As we have written before, the annual and mid-year meetings of the NJSBA offer an opportunity to garner continuing legal education credits, mingle with fellow and sister lawyers and judges and their families, and cultivate professionalism and collegiality by interacting with members of the bar and bench. The annual meeting in May in Atlantic City is always worth attending, but if one has the means to join the NJSBA in foreign destinations, there are additional benefits to these mid-year meetings, including visiting historical venues, such as the beaches of Normandy, as the group did this year, and enjoying the culture, as well as the food and beverage (think champagne) of another country. We say, "Bien Fait." Next year in Dublin.
