Nine nominees of the New Jersey Superior Court cleared the Senate Judiciary Committee and were confirmed in a Senate floor vote Monday, with the list of new judges coming from big-name law firms, including Gibbons, Riker Danzig, and McCarter & English, to solo practitioners.

The committee quickly moved the nominees to the Superior Court through the confirmation process Monday, followed by a Senate floor vote. Among the nominees were partners of firms ranked in the NLJ 500 and the Am Law 200, respectively, while another is the brother of a senator.
