Kalik Confirmed as Superior Court Judge
Riker Danzig has announced that partner Lance J. Kalik has been confirmed by the New Jersey Senate to serve as a Superior Court Judge.
Kalik built an insurance litigation practice in Riker Danzig's insurance and reinsurance practice, becoming a partner in 2003. Kalik has represented insurers in complex coverage and bad faith lawsuits across the U.S., as well as defending attorneys in significant legal malpractice disputes, the announcement noted. Representing clients in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, Kalik's career has also included insurance agency malpractice suits, environmental liability cases and construction defect disputes.
Kalik is a member of the firm's executive committee, and concluded two three-year terms as co-managing partner of Riker Danzig in December 2023. He serves on the firm's diversity and hiring committees.
