The New Jersey Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously advanced seven nominees to the Superior Court bench Thursday, six of whom will fill the majority of the open seats in Bergen County, which has had a consistently high number of open seats throughout the judicial vacancy crisis over the last few years.
Sen. Holly T. Schepisi, R-Bergen, who is not a member of the committee, appeared at Thursday's meeting to introduce her county's six candidates, many whom she personally knows. They include David V. Calviello, Natalie R. Capano, Kelly A. Conlon, Kevin P. Kelly, Lina P. Corriston, and Ian M. Silvera.
