In his most recent role as the chief of Intelligence and Counterterrorism with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Torre oversaw the collection and analysis of intelligence information, as well as the prosecution of criminal and terrorist activity in Bergen County, often in collaboration with the New Jersey and New York Federal Bureau of Investigation Joint Terrorism Task Forces (JTTFs). In 2019, Torre was the recipient of the FBI Director Award for outstanding record in prosecution through combined efforts with the FBI. His contributions have also influenced state and county-level policymaking, particularly in the areas of risk management and behavioral threat assessment, the announcement said.
"We are incredibly fortunate to have Joe join our team," said managing partner Paul S. Doherty III in a statement. "His extensive experience and proven track record in the courtroom, in both the public sector and private practice, will further expand our ability to deliver superior litigation services on behalf of our clients."
