In a published decision, the Appellate Division upheld an order granting judicial dissociation and dissolution of a partnership agreement between AC Ocean Walk and its partner that operated the casino’s nightclub and beach club, Blue Ocean Waters, finding that the order was appropriate under the “not reasonably practicable” standard.

Blue Ocean and its members, Piyush Viradia and Jiten Parikh, sought to vacate two orders in an interlocutory appeal, according to the Appellate Division decision filed Tuesday. The first order granted partial summary judgment to dissociate a partnership created between AC Ocean Walk and Blue Ocean. The second was an order denying a motion for reconsideration filed by Blue Ocean, which would change the date of the partnership dissolution.
