A jury in Middlesex County, New Jersey, awarded $2.5 million on July 11 to a woman who injured her left arm after falling at a storage facility.
The jury awarded that sum to Jane Bishop following a four-day trial before Judge Michael Cresitello Jr. of Middlesex County Superior Court. The jury appeared to reject the defense’s suggestion that the plaintiff, 66, was prone to falling, the plaintiff’s lawyer said.
