Counsel to NJ Attorney General Appointed Acting Executive Director of New Jersey Racing Commission

The New Jersey Racing Commission has a new acting interim director: Sara Ben-David, who most recently served as counsel to the state attorney general. She was confirmed to the post by a unanimous vote at the agency's meeting this week.
Ben-David is a state government attorney, experienced in casino gaming, sports wagering, and horse racing, according to a news release on her selection. The nine-member commission is a bipartisan body appointed by Gov. Phil Murphy, and works to ensure the safety and integrity of the horse racing industry in the state.
