"Today's legislation makes a meaningful adjustment to the contingency attorney fee cap, ensuring fair compensation for attorneys and providing workers with the accessible, quality legal representation they deserve."

A state bill was signed into law Thursday amending existing litigation to reflect a 5 percentage point increase, or a 25% limit for attorney fees for workers' compensation cases, despite opposition from at least two New Jersey organizations.
