A state bill was signed into law Thursday amending existing litigation to reflect a 5 percentage point increase, or a 25% limit for attorney fees for workers' compensation cases, despite opposition from at least two New Jersey organizations.
The law was signed by New Jersey Senate President Nicholas P. Scutari, who served as the acting governor during Gov. Phil Murphy's absence.
