Criminal LawLast September, we spoke of the number of automobile accidents in New Jersey and nationwide caused by drivers distracted by handheld cellphone usage was "staggering." The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that use of handheld cellphones while driving continues to be a leading cause of injury and death on the highway.
