New Jersey Supreme Court nominee John Jay Hoffman is now an associate justice after being confirmed in a unanimous floor vote in the state Senate Monday afternoon.
In another quick hearing, Hoffman, who most recently served as Rutgers University's general counsel, was easily confirmed to the state high court. Sen. Brian P. Stack, D-Hudson, presented Hoffman's nomination on the Senate floor, which was unanimously confirmed in a 34-0 vote on Monday afternoon.
