The New Jersey Supreme Court has been asked to take up a case in which a couple was barred from suing Uber over injuries from a car crash because of their 12-year-old daughter's alleged consent to arbitration of disputes.
In McGinty v. Zheng, the lawyer for Georgia Fraser and John McGinty petitioned for certification after the Appellate Division held that the arbitration agreement in question is valid and enforceable.
