The New Jersey Superior Court is inching closer to resolving its vacancy crisis after the Senate quickly moved five nominees in Camden, Morris and Union counties.
The Senate Judiciary Committee advanced the nominations of two judges Monday morning. In a Senate floor vote this afternoon, both nominees were confirmed to the bench alongside three additional nominees who passed the committee last week. This latest round of Superior Court nominees brings the total number of vacant seats on the bench down to 39.
