Michael C. Zogby, partner-in-charge of the firm's Morristown, New Jersey, and Philadelphia offices, has been named Office Managing Partner of the Year by the New Jersey Law Journal. "I am honored to be recognized as the Office Managing Partner of the Year by the New Jersey Law Journal," said Zogby. "This award is a testament to the hard work, talent, and dedication of our entire team and the deliberate choices we have made to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. We look forward to the future and to continuing to focus on delivering top-notch client service."

Since opening in 2022 as part of the firm's East Coast expansion, the Morristown and Philadelphia offices have experienced extraordinary growth under Zogby's leadership, expanding from six attorneys to a team of more than 40 highly diverse and talented attorneys and business professionals. The offices have emphasized a commitment to community involvement, pro bono service, and an unwavering dedication to DEI initiatives. For example, the Morristown office – which moved into a newly renovated space on the top floor of 1776 On The Green in 2023 – features artwork from the Arts and Access Program at Matheny, a special hospital and school for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities. The firm worked with a local historian to name the Morristown office's conference rooms after New Jersey's unseen and unsung diverse heroes of the American Revolution. In 2023, the Barnes & Thornburg Racial and Social Justice Foundation awarded a $50,000 grant to Why Not Prosper, a Philadelphia-based organization that provides support and resources to empower women from the prison system.

Zogby serves as a member of Barnes & Thornburg's management committee, co-chair of the trials and global disputes practice, member of the litigation and environmental departments, and co-chair of BTMENA. He represents pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, biotechnology, consumer products, manufacturing, and chemical companies in product liability, mass tort, toxic tort, environmental litigation, and business disputes alleging negligence, failure to warn, strict liability, design and manufacturing defects, fraud, consumer protection, breach of warranty, wrongful death, antitrust, IP, eDiscovery, punitive damages, and trade secrets challenges. He serves as an elected member of the board of directors of the Product Liability Advisory Council, Trial Attorneys of America, and Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, and he is on the faculty at the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law.
