A $1.3 million settlement has been reached for a woman who rolled her ankle while depositing funds at a bank’s night drop box.

Donna Kolmer, a store manager, drove to Valley National Bank in Wayne to make a deposit on the evening of Feb. 12, 2016. As she walked up to the bank to make the deposit, the then-59-year-old rolled her ankle, causing serious injuries that required multiple surgeries and devolved into complex regional pain syndrome, according to her attorney, Cory Anne Cassidy of Riposta Cassidy.
