"From my perspective, the judiciary is a talent-based organization," Judge Glenn A. Grant told the Law Journal. "We exist because of our decisions. We are a critical component of society based upon our membership's wisdom, knowledge and expertise. I walk away from this job, tremendously impressed by our judges."

Grant, whom Chief Justice Stuart Rabner appointed to be director of the Administrative Office of the Courts in September 2008, announced he will be stepping down from the role in March.
