Johnson & Johnson Inc. of New Brunswick, a medical-products company, agreed Monday to pay $428.26 million for outstanding stock of Omrix Biopharmaceuticals Inc. of New York, a pharmaceutical company. J&J is represented by Cravath, Swaine & Moore, Jones Day and Weil Gotschal & Manges, all in New York. Omrix is represented by Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York.
Hoffmann-La Roche To Pay $50M for Memory Pharmaceutical
Hoffmann-La Roche Inc., a pharmaceutical company based in Basel, Switzerland, with U.S. headquarters in Nutley, announced Tuesday it would pay $50.17 million for outstanding common stock of Memory Pharmaceuticals of Montvale, a biopharmaceutical company. Hoffmann-La Roche is represented by Marc Williams at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and Memory by J.D. Weinberg at Covington & Burling in New York.
