Pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson , based in New Brunswick, agreed on Dec. 1 to pay $1 billion for Mentor Corp. , a maker of cosmetic surgery products in Santa Barbara, Calif. J&J is represented by Damien Zoubek of Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York, and Mentor by Scott Stanton , Steven Rowles and Michael O’Bryan of Morrison & Foerster in San Diego.

ADLER Tank Rentals Sold for $89.7M

McGrath RentCorp., a sales and leasing firm in Livermore, Calif., agreed on Dec. 1 to pay $89.7 million for ADLER Tank Rentals, a liquid-containment company in Newark.
