The New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association presented its Community Service Award on Nov. 20 to Rebecca Brazzano, of counsel at Thompson Hine LLP in New York City. Others at the event at the Marriott in East Hanover included NJCCA President Valerie Camara, managing counsel at Merck & Co. Inc. and Bret Parker, chairman of NJCCA’s Pro Bono and Outreach Committee and assistant general counsel at Wyeth.
Newark Library Honors McCarter & English
McCarter & English was honored for its support of the Newark Public Library during the library’s Booked for the Evening fund-raiser on Nov. 13 at Belleville’s Nanina’s In The Park. In attendance were, McCarter & English partner Frank Ferruggia and chairman Andrew Berry accept the award from Virginia Bauer, commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and a member of the library’s fund-raising committee.
