League of Municipal Courts — Facing austere fiscal times, the governing bodies of five Morris County towns voted last Monday to abandon their individual municipal courts in favor of a single consolidated one.

The Dover Joint Municipal Court — made up of Dover, Mine Hill, Mount Arlington, Rockaway Borough and Wharton — is to begin operations on Feb. 1, says Dover Municipal Judge Philip Maenza , who will be the presiding judge over the consolidated court.
