William Garland, a professor at Seton Hall University School of Law for more than three decades and a former Newark lawyer, died Jan. 8. He was 64.
Garland joined the Seton Hall faculty as an adjunct professor in 1970 and became a full professor in 1976. He was an associate dean from 1983 to 1984.
