The New Jersey State Bar Association’s governing body said its views and insights should be included in the Judiciary’s plan to create a mandatory continuing legal education system, especially since its 16,000 members will serve as a customer base in the new system.
In a unanimous voice vote, the association’s Board of Trustees reaffirmed its core position on the issue that any program the New Jersey Judiciary creates should be fair, flexible, reasonable and time- and money-conscious.
