A jury awarded $2.15 million on Jan. 29 to a Pennsylvania woman who tripped in a Passaic County pub parking lot pothole, though her award was cut because she was found 10 percent liable.
Dawn Curley, of Dingman’s Ferry, Pa., fell in the 30-inch-wide by 4-inch-deep hole as she arrived at Lakeview Pub & Liquors in New Milford on Sept. 4, 2005. It was nighttime and she claimed the outdoor lights were off.
