Gov. Jon Corzine has sent the Senate Judiciary Committee the names of five candidates to fill judicial vacancies in four counties.
The nominees announced last Monday are assistant deputy public defender William Anklowitz (Mercer); Hopewell and Pennington municipal judge Robert Billmeier (Mercer); administrative law judge John Tassini (Monmouth); Vineland lawyer Gary Wodlinger (Cumberland); and assistant Essex County prosecutor Carolyn Wright (Essex).
