Gov. Jon Corzine on Friday announced his nomination of Justice Barry Albin for reappointment to the state Supreme Court, acknowledging the confirmation process may be turbulent.
Speaking to about 200 judges and lawyers at the State Bar Association’s annual meeting in Atlantic City, Corzine said that Albin, in his first seven years on the bench, had demonstrated “fairness, judgment, compassion and commitment to the rule of law.”
