A venue battle has broken out in the mounting litigation over Ticketmaster’s alleged practice of redirecting online shoppers for concert tickets to the Web site of a subsidiary, TicketsNow, that sells them at a big markup.

In recent months, 10 putative class-action suits have been filed in federal courts in six states. Three are in the District of New Jersey, where the plaintiffs’ lawyers are asking the Judicial Panel for Multidistrict Litigation to transfer the other seven.
