A recent ruling by the New Jersey Supreme Court is another example of the justices’ refusal to require the accuser to face the accused in open court. I hope the defendant takes an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

In State v. Terry W. Coder , A-28-08, decided on May 4, the defendant invited a 3-year-old girl and her 11-year-old friend into the basement of an apartment building. While in the basement, the defendant allegedly pulled down his pants, and the pants of the 3-year-old and sexually touched her. The 11-year-old ran to the younger girl’s apartment and told the girl’s mother.
