The state Legislature took another step Thursday toward making New Jersey the 14th state to allow the legal use of marijuana by those with chronic or terminal illnesses.
The Assembly Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee voted to recommend passage of the New Jersey Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act, A-804 , clearing the way for a vote by the full house.
