05-2-5191 Jones v. New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission , App. Div. (per curiam) (7 pp.) Plaintiff appeals from the order of suspension issued by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, suspending his driver’s license for a period of 270 days. The suspension arises from three traffic tickets issued to Jones in 2006 for speeding. Since the 270-day suspension for the three tickets falls within the parameters of the governing statute and regulations, and in light of Jones’s egregious driving record over two decades, the appellate panel finds no abuse of discretion. [Decided Sept. 1, 2009.]

09-2-5153 Jones v. Ford Motor Co. , App. Div. (per curiam) (7 pp.) The Appellate Division affirms the decision of the Department of Community Affairs upholding the administrative law judge’s dismissal of the Lemon Law dispute resolution application because the slow leak of transmission fluid did not impose substantial impairment in the vehicle’s safety or in plaintiff’s use, as he continued to drive the same amount of miles after the problem developed. [Decided Aug. 27, 2009.]
