Norma Dixon-an African-American woman who has worked for the Pulaski County Special School District (the “School District”) since 2001-applied for a “Buyer” position with the School District in 2006. She was not given an interview for the position, and she sued for racial discrimination under 42 U.S.C. §§ 1981, 1983, 2000(e) and Arkansas Code section 16-123-101. The district court*fn1 granted summary judgment for the School District, finding that although Dixon had established a prima facie case, she was unable to show that the School District’s proffered non-discriminatory reason was pretext for discrimination. Dixon appeals. We affirm.
