Three Camden women hurt in the crash of a rented van in Canada received $14 million in settlements, including the final one on Sept. 15, in a case that centered on their failure to use seat belts.

Roland Clinton and relatives were returning home from Canada on July 25, 2003, when he fell asleep at the wheel on Highway 1 in St. George, New Brunswick. The van crashed into a boulder and caught fire and three passengers were thrown around inside the van.
