A longtime Giants and Jets season ticket holder can pursue a class-action suit that would kill the football teams’ imposition of licensing charges of up to $25,000 for seats in the new Giants Stadium opening next year, a federal judge says.
U.S. District Judge Peter Sheridan in Trenton on Tuesday denied the teams’ motion for summary dismissal of a claim that personal seat licenses (PSL) violate an implied contract that gives holders of current tickets the right to renew for just the cost of the seats.
