Gov. Jon Corzine has nominated his chief of staff, Edward McBride Jr., for the Superior Court and his first assistant chief counsel, Kay Walcott-Henderson, for the workers’ compensation bench.

Among other nominations announced Thursday was a second term for Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor, a Democrat in office since 2004, and a first Superior Court judgeship for Thomas Walsh, a Union County litigator.
