U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman promised at an installation ceremony attended by an A-list of political and legal figures Monday that he would continue the office’s tradition of rooting out corruption and do it fairly and ethically.
Fishman, 53, of Montclair, has been the state’s top federal prosecutor since October when the U.S. Senate confirmed his nomination by President Obama. He took the formal oath of office from U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito, Jr.
