Anyone Seen My Prosser on Torts? — When families that love books move to a new home, putting the favorite tomes on a shelf can be an enjoyable experience. In the case of five state Appellate Division judges, the pleasure will be stayed. The book cases are still in transit.

Last week, Judges Rudy Coleman, David Landau, Thomas Lyons, Richard Newman and Marie Simonelli moved from a Springfield office building to a Newark high-rise that used to be the Essex County Jail. It’s a $24 million makeover to consolidate chambers spread over several northern New Jersey towns. Five judges from Hackensack and one from Morristown are scheduled to move in this week.
