Defendant Fareed Gandhi was convicted of two counts of fourth-degree stalking, N.J.S.A. 2C:12-10(b), and, in the second portion of his bifurcated trial, of having stalked his victim in violation of no-contact orders, which elevated his stalking convictions to offenses of the third degree. Defendant also was convicted of 11 counts charging fourth-degree contempt of court for disobeying judicial orders.
