Minority Moves — The nation’s second-largest minority-owned firm has opened in Wayne with a group of five lawyers with experience: They used to be in the largest one.

Five years ago, Steven Gerber, a former federal prosecutor in Newark, merged Gerber & Samson in Wayne with 290-lawyer Adorno & Yoss of Atlanta. Last Wednesday, he led a five-lawyer defection to 100-lawyer Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan of Milwaukee. They will stay in their quarters near the Willowbrook Mall.
